Key Election Dates & Ballot Info
Be sure you know the details about when and how to vote safely in TX this year.
|Online Voter Registration||Texas does not offer online voter registration.||You can register by mail to vote in Texas by printing a voter registration form, filling it out, and mailing it to your local election office. You can also register to vote in person if you prefer.|
|Absentee Ballot Requests||Friday, October 23, 2020||You should request your ballot as far in advance of the election as possible.|
|Absentee Ballots Delivered||Postmarked by November 3, 2020||Postmarked by Election Day and received by the day after Election Day.|
|Early Voting||Tuesday, October 13, 2020 to Friday, October 30, 2020||You will be asked to show photo ID to vote in Texas. If you don't have ID and cannot obtain one due to a reasonable impediment, you'll need to sign a sworn statement that there is a reason why you don't have the required ID. Other identification will be needed.|
