Lori is an outspoken activist against racism, inequality, and corruption in government with a proven record of teaching activists to mobilize and advocate for democracy. Over the last 4 years from her home in Tennessee, Lori has pioneered new & innovative strategies in digital persuasion.

Aram Fischer
Director
After two decades of rank-and-file activism, Aram began organizing as a leader under the Indivisible banner in 2016. With a talent for weaving together activist networks, Aram is active with National Network Assembly, Blueprint 4 Change, the Movement Voter Project & more.

Fred Guttenberg
Director
Fred is a political activist, writer, and non-profit co-founder who began his public life after the murder of his daughter Jaime at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas HS in Parkland. His non-profit, Orange Ribbons for Gun Safety, is dedicated to pursuing common sense gun safety measures.

Doug Jones
Director
Senator Jones is renowned for his work on civil rights & justice. Elected to the US Senate in 2017, Jones built a reputation as an effective legislator, passing more than two dozen bipartisan bills. He is currently Of Counsel for Arent Fox Schiff and serves as a Senior Distinguished Fellow with the Center for American Progress.

Nick Knudsen
President & Co-Founder
Nick is a Portland, OR-based writer and activist who worked as a grassroots digital organizer during the 2018 and 2020 election cycles. He has a Masters in Policy and 15-year background in non-profit management, program administration, coalition-building & resource development.

Santiago Mayer
Director
Santiago is Founder & Executive Director of Voters of Tomorrow, a non-profit, student-led org that increases political awareness, engagement and voting among millennials & Gen Z’s. Santiago has grown VOT to 40 campuses & 20 states, expanding & empowering the youth voting bloc.

Steve Perlman
Director
Steve has spent over 25 years in marketing and communications, working with some of the world's biggest brands and global sports events. He volunteers his time supporting nonprofits focused on improving educational access for disadvantaged communities and environmental causes.

Jill Schiller
Treasurer
Jill is a mother, former attorney, former Obama Administration staffer and founder of a successful children’s literacy non-profit. In 2018, Jill was the Democratic nominee for the US House seat in Ohio’s 2nd District and in 2020 was elected Treasurer of Hamilton County, Ohio.

Hassan Ahmad
Board of Directors, 2019-2021
Hassan Ahmad is an immigration lawyer, advocate, and a former candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates who has fought for asylum seekers, families, and businesses seeking prosperity for 16 years. He seeks to elevate stories of aspiring Americans to policymakers at all levels.

Rachel Murphy Azzara
Board of Directors, 2019-2021
Rachel is Co-Founder & Executive Director of Democrats Work For America, a grassroots political action committee. Through a national network of volunteers, Rachel’s org boosts critical wins by providing resources, support and guidance to activists on the ground. She lives in St. Louis, MO with her family.

Reginald Oh
Board of Directors, 2019-2021
Reginald Oh is Associate Director of The Loyal Opposition and a constitutional law professor. Reggie’s scholarship is focused on the meaning of equality under the 14th Amendment. His current research focuses on the role that dehumanization plays in fostering inequality and discrimination.

Khary Penebaker
Board of Directors, 2019-2021
Khary is a gun violence survivor, prominent gun sense advocate and DNC representative from Wisconsin. He is a proud board member of Planned Parenthood of WI and WAVE (WI Anti-Violence Effort), Everytown for Gun Safety‘s WI’s Survivor Fellow, and a successful entrepreneur.
