Key Election Dates & Ballot Info
Be sure you know the details about when and how to vote safely in Michigan this year.
|Online Voter Registration||Monday, October 19, 2020||Michigan offers online voter registration. You can register by mail to vote in Michigan by printing a voter registration form, filling it out, and mailing it to your local election office. You can also register to vote in person if you prefer.|
|Absentee Ballot Requests||Friday, October 30, 2020||Michigan allows any voter to request a ballot by mail. You can also vote in person. Michigan offers early voting.|
|Absentee Ballots Delivered||8:00 pm, November 3rd, 2020||Your ballot will not be counted unless your signature is on the return envelope and matches your signature on file. If you received assistance voting the ballot, then the signature of the person who helped you must also be on the return envelope.|
|Early Voting||Monday, September 21, 2020 to Monday, November 2, 2020||You will be asked to show a current photo ID to vote in Michigan. If you are unable to provide ID, you can vote like any other voter by signing an affidavit.|
|Election Day||Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020||You will be asked to show a current photo ID to vote in Michigan. If you are unable to provide ID, you can vote like any other voter by signing an affidavit.|
