Key Election Dates & Ballot Info
Be sure you know the details about when and how to vote safely in GA this year.
You need a valid driver's license or identification card issued by Georgia Department of Driver Services (DDS) with signature on file with DDS. If you do not have a valid driver's license or identification card, you can still register by mail to vote.

You should request your ballot as far in advance of the election as possible.
Absentee Ballots Delivered
Close of polls on Tuesday, November 3rd.
A ballot must be received by the county registrar no later than the close of polls on Election Day.
Delivery can be either U.S. first class mail or hand delivered by the voter. If mailing, you must affix postage to the ballot envelope. Ballots received after the polls close cannot be counted.
Early Voting
Monday, October 12, 2020 to Friday, October 30, 2020
It is highly advised that you vote early if you plan to vote in person. Georgia has a troubled history of suppression, including extremely long lines at polling places. You will need to show photo ID to vote in Georgia.
Election Day
Tuesday, November 3rd
