Why Join Team Arizona?

Arizona will be a critical battleground state, with 11 electoral college votes. Donald Trump won by just 3%, but since then Arizona has flipped one Senate seat and is posed to flip another with Democratic nominee Mark Kelly. This Senate seat is crucial for control of the Senate, and also with keeping control of the Hose, with 1 frontline Dem.Arizona is also posed to flip both State Legislatures to blue, needing to pick up 3 Senate seats and 2 Legislative seats for control of both lower chambers.

Why Join Team Colorado?

Colorado is trending blue in recent years, with Clinton winning the state by 5 points, but vigilance is needed to ensure their 9 electoral college votes. Colorado elected a Democratic Governor in 2018, as well as gaining control of both lower chambers. And all that is needed to turn Colorado solid blue is a critical Senate seat and defeating Cory Gradner, while maintaining control of the State Senate and House.

Why Join Team Florida?

Trump won Florida by 2 points, which gained him their 29 electoral college votes. Democrats narrowly lost 2 statewide races in 2018 by less than 1 point. But Florida overwhelmingly restored the voting rights of felons, and despite on-going court battles, millions of disenfranchised voters will regain their right to vote. This could swing Florida to Joe Biden, but also give Democrats a chance to flip one or both of the State Legislatures. 4 Senate seats are needed, which is entirely possible, while a harder road is to flip the State House with 14 seats needed for control. The path to keeping the House also runs through Florida with one frontline Dem to protect and 2 Red to Blue seats.

Why Join Team Georgia?

Georgia is the epicenter of voter suppression, with a protracted and ugly Governor's race in 2018, where Stacy Abrams came within 55,000 votes of beating Brian Kemp. There are 2 Senate seats up for election in 2020, and winning one or both of these seats is a realistic path to taking control of the Senate. With the higher primary turnout statewide, that also has a significant impact on flipping control of the State Legislature. For Democrtaic control of the lower chambers, Democrats need to pick up 7 Senate seats and 16 House seats. The higher turnout will certainly help Lucy McBath keep her seat, as well as flipping the 7th District.

Why Join Team Iowa?

Trump won Iowa’s 6 electoral college votes by 9 points, but there are signs that Iowa is souring on a Trump presidency, with Biden in a statistical tie and Senate Democratic nominee Theresea Greenfield leading in her Senate race. Iowa is another opportunity to gain control of the Senate, and enthusiasm for Democratic in the primaries are promising to make gains to control the Iowa Senate, with 7 seats needed to gain control. But it is highly likely that Democrats can gain control of the State House, with only 4 seats needed to flip control, and 3 of those seats were lost in 2018 by less than 1 % point.

Why Join Team Kansas?

It is highly unlikely that Biden can win Kansas 6 electoral college votes, however Democratic Senate candidate Barbara Bollier is tied in the polls to flip another Senate seat, and incumbent Sharice Davids needs support to keep the House majority. Kansas has a Democratic Governor, but Republicans have a supermajority in the lower chambers. Democrats made real gains in 2018 though and now just need to flip 2 Senate seats and 1 House seat to break the supermajority, which will be key for redistricting in 2021.

Why Join Team Maine?

Maine's 4 electoral college votes are relatively safe, but the big battle is ousting embattled Senate incumbent Susan Collins. This is critical for Senate control. Congressman Jared Golden also needs to be protected as well as the Democratic majority in the State’s lower chambers.

Why Join Team Michigan?

Trump won Michigan by 10,000 votes, so not only are Michigan’s 16 electoral college votes vital, but incumbent Democratic senator Gary Peters needs support to ensure his re-election. Michigan flipped their Govenor’s seat to blue in 2018, but both lower chambers are still controlled by the GOP. The State House is up for re-election though and only 5 seats are needed for Democratic control. There are 2 front line Dems to protect as well as one red to blue House seat.

Why Join Team Montana?

Montana has long been considered a red state, but current popular Democratic Governor Steve Bullock is now running for the Senate, which is a prime opportunity to flip a seat. In addition, all statewide offices in Montana are up for re-election. Montana has had a Democratic Governor for 8 years, and the current Lt Gov Mike Cooney is now running for that office, against Greg Gianforte, who is known for body slamming a reporter, which also means the Congressional seat is in play.

Why Join Team North Carolina?

What isn’t in play in this state? Every statewide office, including 3 Supreme Court seats, plus every Legislative seat. North Carolina was forced to redraw all maps and it is a new ball game in NC.Current Governor Roy Cooper is up for reelection, while Cal Cunningham is leading in the polls for a Senate seat, not to mention NC 15 Electoral College votes are up for grabs in a state that is increasingly moving from purple to blue. And with the new maps comes the opportunity to flip to Congressional seats, plus NC only needs 5 State Senate seats and 6 State House seats to complete a true Democratic trifecta.

Why Join Team Pennsylvania?

Trump narrowly won the states 20 Electoral College votes by a mere 50,000 votes. Since then, they have flipped 3 Congressional seats and have the chance to flip 2 more. Pennsylvania also only needs to flip 3 State Senate seats and 10 State House to gain full control of the lower chambers.

Why Join Team South Carolina?

Jaime Harrison, the Senate candidate running against Lyndsey Graham is taking SC by storm, out-fundraising Graham, and polls are now showing that Harrison is within striking distance. Enthusiasm for Harrison could propel victories down the ballot as well, with only 5 seats needed to flip the State Senate. This is the first election cycle in over a decade where the GOP is facing challengers to the majority of these Senate races, and given the number of Black voters and the number of Black candidates in SC, expect to see record turn out there. Democrats need to defend Freshman Rep. Joe Cunningham's House seat.

Why Join Team Texas?

Texas is increasingly turning purple, with only 41% of the population now identifying as white.Texas has long made it hard for people of color to vote though, but anger at that seems to be turning out voters this election cycle. John Cornyn has a lower approval than Ted Cruz, so that Senate seat is now in play, along with the fact that Joe Biden is effectively tied in Texas for their massive 38 Electoral College votes. But the real fight is in the Texas State House, where Democrats only need to flip 9, and every one of those districts voted for Beto O'Roarke in 2018.

Why Join Team Wisconsin?

Trump won Wisconsin's 10 electoral college votes by a mere 20,000 votes. Since then, Wisconsin has elected a Democratic Governor. Despite efforts to suppress votes by enacting strict voter ID laws, the closing of polling locations and extreme gerrymandering, Democrats are posed to overcome this and flip the State Senate, only needing 3 seats to do this. Much harder but in reach is the state House, with Democrats needing 14 seats. But Democrats are running strong and are challenging the vast majority of races in Wisconsin. But gaining control of the Senate will be enough when it comes time to draw the new maps.
